The Steamboat Summer Academy at The Lowell Whiteman School
The Steamboat Summer Academy is designed for motivated students in grades 8 through 11 (13 through 17 years of age) seeking academic challenge, adventure, and athletic development. All in the incredible mountain setting of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, otherwise known as Ski Town, USA (even in the summer!). The five-week session allows students to concentrate on one high school course while taking advantage of the opportunity to train with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club or gain skills in outdoor adventure activities. Courses may be taken for credit or enrichment, and students may board or participate as day students. Contact the Academy.
