Fall Parents’ Weekend
Letter to Parents about Parents’ Weekend     
Click here for a full schedule of events for Parents’ Weekend Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th.  Be sure to attend class with your student on Friday and join us in the dining hall Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. when Kerry will serve his signature hors d’ oeuvres and school leaders will speak briefly on major program developments outside the LWS classroom. We also look forward to a brief presentation and interactive discussion about “Building on the Experience”, the school’s new campus plan and vision for the next 25 years. Dorms will be closed over the weekend and there will be no classes on Monday, October 27th.  Classes resume Tuesday, October 28th. Limited conference times are still available.  Contact Lynne@lws.edu for more information.

Desert Week
Students will depart on 6 separate trips on Sunday, October 12.  Student trips include canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, kayaking or canyoneering.  Stay tuned for more photos and stories.

Proficiency and Deficiency Notices
Notices will go out to parents this week and students will meet with their advisers to review any notices.   Students with a class average below 70% will receive a deficiency notice.

The Grave’s family has a new member.  Sawyer Graham was born Tuesday, October 1st.  Sandy and baby are doing great! Congratulations to the Graves Family!
