Foreign Travelers Return
All five foreign travel trips were wildly successful! Students will be gathering in their groups this week to debrief and to share photos and stories of their travels. Thanks to all who contributed to our Foreign Travel Blog, and a special thank you to all the faculty and staff that held down the fort during Intersession!

Friends and family are invited to a reception in the Charlie Williams Lodge on Friday, June 6th from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. to honor the Class of 2008. LWS Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dariel Henderson Gymnasium. Please be thoughtful about the number of seats that you reserve for family members. Thank you for your understanding.

Film Night
LWS Film Students will present their year-long film projects on Sunday evening, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the Krautkramer Theater. These students have worked tirelessly over the past months, please come and see the results of their labor!

Community Project
Morgan, Shelby, and Buddy concluded their month of service with a presentation in the Krautkramer Theater on Thursday, May 22nd. The three mentoring agencies, Yampa Valley Autism Program, Steamboat Chamber Resort Association and Integrated Communities received stipends and a huge “thank you” for hosting LWS students for this four-week volunteer experience.

Golf, Golf, Golf

LWS Alum Graduates from UC Denver
Johnny May (’00) graduated from UC Denver, Anschutz Campus with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy on Friday, May 23rd. Dorm Parents Cameron and LJ McVey attended the commencement ceremony. The entire faculty and staff of LWS congratulate you on your achievement!

The One That Didn't Get AwayStudent, David Lea caught the largest, recorded Whitefish in Wellesley Lake, Canada with a fly rod! The record was recently approved by the International Game Fish Association.

    It is refreshing to be able to see what goes on at Whiteman after all these years. So many changes, so many unique individuals! Don’t see overly much on the “old-timers” though. Good luck to all the 08 grads! Life is good, go out and make it better!
